Hello Laureate Park Residents,This email is to provide an update on the main pool motor at the LP Aquatic Center.
The pool vendor has confirmed that the required parts are still on back order. They are continuing to check in with other suppliers, in hopes that someone will have them in stock. As soon as we get an update on when parts will arrive, we will let everyone know. As previously mentioned, residents may still relax on the daybeds and lounge chairs, by the main pool, but swimming will not be permitted. The "splash" pool is available for swimming and the lap lane pool remains available for lap swimming only. We thank you for your patience during this time. Hello Laureate Park Residents,

Dear Laureate Park Residents,
As the 4th of July is approaching, we would like to remind residents about the use of fireworks being prohibited within Laureate Park per the documents of the HOA. If the fireworks leave the ground, they are prohibited. EXHIBIT "E" (USE RESTRICTIONS) (b) Firearms; Fireworks. The use and discharge of firearms within the Property is prohibited. The term "firearms" includes "B-B" guns, pellet guns, and other firearms of all types, regardless of size. The use and discharge of fireworks is prohibited. Florida Statue 791; Sale of Fireworks does not supersede the HOA Covenants documents. Florida Statue 791.08 (3), The Legislature does not intend for the application of this section to supersede any prohibition against the use of fireworks contained within a legally executed and properly recorded declaration of covenants or covenant running with the land of any homeowners’ association pursuant to chapter 720. To help enforce this rule, the HOA hired 3 security patrol officers from Berman Security Agency. They will be patrolling the common areas from 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. In addition to the scheduled patrol, security will have a phone where residents may call to report any prohibited firework activity. The number is 407-205-3714. You will remain anonymous. In case of an emergency, please call 911. Many do not realize the effect that fireworks can have on people and animals so, please be responsible and respectful to the elderly, young children, pets, veterans, and other community residents during the 4th of July holiday weekend. Hurricane Preparedness As with every hurricane season regardless of forecast, knowing the essentials of how to prepare could keep you, your family, and the community safe. Below are some helpful tips to prepare for hurricane season. Securing Your Home - Keep trees and shrubs around your home trimmed. - All dead Palm Tree fronds should be removed. - The HOA will be trimming all attached unit and common area Palm Trees in the beginning of July. - Remove all items from your exterior areas, including trash bins, plants, chairs, tables, grills, recreational equipment, etc. These items can be dangerous flying objects in the event of high winds. - If you live in an area that has a lot of construction, the HOA will remove the culvert protectors if a hurricane is expected. The HOA will replace these protectors once it is safe to do so. - The HOA will request the builders of new construction homes to secure and/or remove their materials in advance of the upcoming storm. After the Storm - Use caution when assessing damage to your home and property. - Please stay away from downed trees and limbs as they can be a safety issue. Trees can still fall due to the saturation of the soil. - Do not enter flood waters. The only way for the flooding to go down is for it to recede naturally. - The landscape and HOA team will be onsite to assess the community after the storm has passed and when it is safe to do so. - If you are in an attached unit and need to have your roof inspected and/or repaired due to storm damage, please take a photo and email them to the HOA Community Association Manager at marditi@artemislifestyles.com. Please understand that the roof vendor will assess the roof when it is safe to do so. You can find other helpful hints and preparation guidelines at https://www.noaa.gov/hurricane-prep. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your HOA team at laureatepark@artemislifestyles.com or at 407-705-2190 ext 266. Important Notice Regarding Your Summit Broadband Services
Update: May 23, 2023 To Our Valued Customers, This past weekend many of you experienced a disruption in your Summit Broadband services. Early Saturday morning we experienced a commercial power event impacting both internal and customer-facing systems. We are currently working with our utility provider to investigate the root cause of this power event. Most commercial and hospitality customers’ Internet services were restored by noon on Saturday, and our platforms providing Internet access for most residential customers were operational by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Services to the remaining residential customers impacted by Saturday’s event were restored on Monday. If you were impacted, I apologize. I know how important Internet, TV, and voice services are and how frustrating it can be when those services do not work. At Summit Broadband we have worked hard to build a highly reliable, fiber-optic-based network to deliver world-class service, and you have trusted us to deliver. As of today, all customer-facing platforms are stable, and we continue to support individual residential or commercial customers needing assistance to reconnect to the Internet. Summit also recommends, if you are still having issues, to do the following: Step 1 – Unplug the power cord on the ONT. This is the box that terminates the fiber optic connection. Wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in. Step 2 – Unplug the power cord on the Router. This is the device that is connected to the ONT and provides Wi-Fi throughout the house. Wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. On behalf of the entire Summit Broadband team, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve the experience we deliver. We are committed to providing you the reliable service you deserve. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Residential customers should email care@asksbb.com or call 1.877.678.6648. Commercial customers can call 1.877.244.0242. Sincerely, Gary Gadson Interim CEO summitbb.com Attached residents will find the HOA monthly violation report recap, for the month of April 2023.
