Important Notice Regarding Your Summit Broadband Services
Update: May 23, 2023 To Our Valued Customers, This past weekend many of you experienced a disruption in your Summit Broadband services. Early Saturday morning we experienced a commercial power event impacting both internal and customer-facing systems. We are currently working with our utility provider to investigate the root cause of this power event. Most commercial and hospitality customers’ Internet services were restored by noon on Saturday, and our platforms providing Internet access for most residential customers were operational by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Services to the remaining residential customers impacted by Saturday’s event were restored on Monday. If you were impacted, I apologize. I know how important Internet, TV, and voice services are and how frustrating it can be when those services do not work. At Summit Broadband we have worked hard to build a highly reliable, fiber-optic-based network to deliver world-class service, and you have trusted us to deliver. As of today, all customer-facing platforms are stable, and we continue to support individual residential or commercial customers needing assistance to reconnect to the Internet. Summit also recommends, if you are still having issues, to do the following: Step 1 – Unplug the power cord on the ONT. This is the box that terminates the fiber optic connection. Wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in. Step 2 – Unplug the power cord on the Router. This is the device that is connected to the ONT and provides Wi-Fi throughout the house. Wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. On behalf of the entire Summit Broadband team, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve the experience we deliver. We are committed to providing you the reliable service you deserve. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Residential customers should email care@asksbb.com or call 1.877.678.6648. Commercial customers can call 1.877.244.0242. Sincerely, Gary Gadson Interim CEO summitbb.com Attached residents will find the HOA monthly violation report recap, for the month of April 2023. Thank you, Laureate Park Master Association Inc.
The City of Orlando recently conducted a traffic study to consider raised crosswalks at the following areas:
Attached you will find the results of their study. With that, their determination is raised crosswalks in the above locations are not warranted. They plan to conduct a traffic study, in the next week, of the intersection at Tavistock Lakes Blvd & Granger Ave.
