Laureate Park Residents,
Our team has continued to closely monitor the LP Aquatic Center usage over the last few weeks since re-opening and are constantly considering ways in which we can enhance access for our residents to enjoy the amenities this summer in the safest way possible. Please understand that safety is our top priority. The following adjustments will be made to the reservation system in the coming week: Beginning Saturday, July 18 – Individual lap swimmers will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis without a reservation from 8 am – 11 am each day. The maximum number of lap swimmers will be five (5) at any given time and each swimmer will be given a different colored wristband to indicate they are lap swimming only. As lap swimmers exit, new lap swimmers will be allowed to enter. To encourage the safety of all guests, we ask that you wait in your car after you check in with an attendant at the gate. Also beginning Saturday, July 18 – From 5:30 pm – 7 pm, guests without reservations will be allowed to enter the LP Aquatic Center for the remainder of each day. This is on a first come, first serve basis and the number of guests allowed during this time will be based on the number of reservations that have not been fulfilled during that time slot. Beginning Saturday, July 26 – The number of reservations at the LP Aquatic Center will be limited to one (1) per household per week. This will increase the opportunity for more residents to enjoy the LP Aquatic Center. We will also begin looking into guests who are consistently reserving passes and not showing up for their reservations. If you make more than one reservation per week (Sunday – Saturday), any additional reservations following your earliest that week will be cancelled to allow for other residents to enjoy the facilities. Thank you for your continued patience over the last few weeks. We do appreciate and value your feedback. Our team will continue to monitor usage and make the adjustments as we are able to safely. Dear Laureate Park Residents,
Beginning the 16th of July, LP Fit will be having its windows replaced with new View Dynamic Glass. Unlike traditional glass, View Dynamic Glass tints in response to outdoor conditions providing greater comfort and energy efficiency without ever compromising the view. The project is expected to be completed within the next 7-10 days. They will begin work every morning no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and complete the day by 5:00 p.m. This will be minimal impact to the residents utilizing LP Fit, as most of the work is conducted on the outside of the building. When they need to work on the inside they will work around anyone utilizing equipment. In some instances some equipment might be roped off for use, as they complete work in that particular section, but they will provide access to said equipment immediately after completion of that section. We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope you enjoy the end result. Thank you, Laureate Park Master Association Dear Laureate Park Residents,
We would like to thank the residents who have called, or emailed, and provided feedback in regard to the Lake Nona App, reservation system, and the LP Aquatic Center procedures and restrictions. We appreciate your feedback. These are unprecedented times, and we are constantly looking to find the right balance of resident safety and optimal use of the facility. The majority of the responses that we have received has been positive, but we have also had some that want usage to be less restrictive. We opened the LP Aquatic Center last week with safety in mind, first, as well as the understanding the need to monitor facility use, including the time in which residents arrived and the time in which residents exited. Based on the feedback we have received, the following changes will take place beginning July 17, 2020:
We will continue to monitor the reservation level against actual usage of the facility, as well as all resident feedback. We anticipate that there may be future adjustments as we learn from the experience. Please note, as we continue to enhance the LP Aquatic Center, on July 20th and July 21st reservations will not be taken and the pool will be closed. The beach volleyball area, along with the hammock area by the kid’s pool, will be having new sand installed. The newly sodded entrance circle will be having required top dressing and grading work completed. Due to the heavy machinery involved with this work, we could not safely have the pool open. We once again thank everyone for their continued patience and understanding during this unusual process. Thank you, Laureate Park Master Association Inc |
