Aquatic Center Expansion Happening Now

The expansion of the Laureate Park Aquatic Center is officially underway! The expansion includes the new Lap Pool, Basketball Court and bathrooms. See below for construction schedule and impacts over the next few weeks:

Bathroom Expansion - beginning week of February 17 and projected to be completed by March 13. Men's bathroom will be the first impacted, followed by the Women's bathroom. During each construction, the unisex bathroom will be the designated accommodation.
Lap Pool and Basketball Court - beginning week of February 17 and projected to be completed by June 11. Fencing will be placed around the limits of the work and the back area, including the Sand Volleyball Court will be closed off.

Can Tavisstock please think about building a SEPARATE pool instead of only adding another pool to the current pool area. I know they want to put more houses in from a profit perspective but what they are designing will not help with the amount of people we see during peak season. Look at Stapleton in Denver and you can see a large neighborhood similar to Laureate park with MULTIPLE pools- all at separate areas throughout the neighborhood.
Not to mention- have they given any thought to parking seeing as there’s very minimal parking outside of Canvas where people currently park to go into the pool.

Where exactly will the basketball court be located? Will the noise effect the adult side of the pool?
